According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Will Poulter, Rachel Brosnahan, and Charles Melton have joined Netflix’s upcoming film Saturn Return. Deadline reports that the project will be directed by Greg Kwedar, known for Train Dreams.
Set in Chicago, the film explores themes of love, death, and the complexities of a decade in the lives of a group of young people, from their college years into adulthood. The screenplay was written by Gillian Gollad and later revised by Kwedar and Clint Bentley.
Melton previously collaborated with Netflix in Todd Haynes’ May December and recently appeared in A24’s Warfare. He has just wrapped filming Nicolas Winding Refn’s Her Private Hell and will also be seen in season two of Netflix’s Beef.
Brosnahan recently took on the role of Lois Lane in James Gunn’s Superman and starred in 20th Century Studios’ The Amateur. She will appear in season two of Apple TV+’s Presumed Innocent and is expected to reprise her role in the Superman sequel.
Poulter was recently featured in Warfare opposite Melton and in season three of The Bear. He also starred in Death of a Unicorn, which was released theatrically.
